Giving Your Story a Place To Be Told
While trial strategy and negotiating ability are an important part of any criminal case and I am extensively practiced in these skills, another issue I like to highlight is the importance of making the defendant part of the solution by giving him or her the opportunity to respond to the prosecutor's evidence.
One of the first things I do when I accept a criminal case is to copy down the facts and evidence found in the police report. I sit down in court with my clients and present this information, along with any photographs, to my client. This gives my clients an opportunity to see whether there are any inconsistencies with what the client believes really happened.
My strategy from them on is to make sure my client's side of the story is told. By presenting the district attorney with my client's story and making it clear that nothing will stop me from making sure that it is told in court, I put my opponents on notice that we are serious about fighting the criminal charges.
Contact me when you need an attorney to stick up for your rights, whether you've been charged with a violent crime, a white-collar crime, a drug crime or any other type of crime.
Convenient and Accessible
You don't have to go to downtown Houston to discuss your case with me. I am conveniently located in The Heights in a Victorian house where I am able to rent office space and a conference room from the owner.
Because I am in court every morning, I am normally in the office on weekday afternoons. Many of my clients work during the day, and I also schedule consultations in the evening to accommodate them. I am also and am happy to schedule weekend appointments as necessary. I will also meet with clients in jail or prison.
I strive to make Texas state and federal criminal defense representation accessible and offer my services at competitive rates.
